About Kenneth Podell
Dr. Podell is the Division Head of Neuropsychology and Co-director of The Sports Concussion Clinic at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, an Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, Wayne State University, Detroit, MI and an adjunct Assistant Professor in The Department of Psychology, University of Windsor. Dr. Podell received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology at The City University of New York. He did his pre doctoral and post-doctoral training at The Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Podell has been instrumental in developing ImPACT and has made several national presentations and authored articles on computerized assessment in evaluating concussion. Dr. Podell is a board certified neuropsychologist (ABN) and a Fellow of The National Academy of Neuropsychology. He has had prior academic appointments at The Medical College of Pennsylvania and Drexel University. He is a reviewer for various scientific journals. Dr. Podell is the neuropsychological consultant for the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Lions as part of their concussion program. He is also a clinician consultant to Major League Baseball. He also consults with various colleges and athletic programs assessing and caring for their concussed athletes.
