About Ochsner Clinic Foundation

Multi-specialty pediatric group with campuses in New Orleans, LA and Covington, LA. Ochsner Sports Medicine North Shore is the regional provider for St. Tammany Parish public schools athletic programs.

Ochsner Sports Medicine South Shore is the healthcare provider for the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Hornets.

The ImPACT program at Ochsner is facilitated through Ochsner Pediatrics and Pediatric Sports Medicine with clinics on both the South Shore and North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain. We specialize in seeing patients aged 21 (college age) and under.


Community Work and Involvement

Ochsner Sports Medicine North Shore is the regional provider for St. Tammany Parish public schools athletic programs. This includes a well developed high school athletic trainer program overseen by Ochsner Sports Medicine as well as physician coverage of all parishwide public high school athletics. In addition, Ochsner Sports Medicine North Shore provides free mass pre-participation physical exams and educational talks for local Junior High and High Schools.


ImPACT History:

Dr. Karlin attended an ImPACT Workshop. Dr. Karlin spent time evaluating patients within Dr. Collins' concussion clinic. Additionally, Dr. Karlin has had extensive training utilizing the program at Rutgers University while completing his primary care sports medicine fellowship.
