About South Bay Sports & Preventive Medicine Associates, Inc.

Our clinic provides optimal healthcare in sports medicine, preventive medicine and primary care medicine, with caring, empathetic physicians and staff. Within the multitude of medical services our team provides are preventive medical care, treatment of injuries, wellness checkups, pre-participation sports physicals, prevention of chronic deseases, EKGs, immunizations, weight management, sports and rehabilitative therapy, and concussion evaluation and treatment.

Community Work and Involvement

Our clinic has extensive involvement with many sports teams including the San Francisco Giants and its minor league affiliates; Bellarmine College Prep; The Kings Academy; West Valley College; and Coyote
Creek Pop Warner Football. The clinic has provided impact examinations and consultations for athletes at San Jose State University and many other schools in Northern California. In addition, we receive frequent referrals for impact testing from many physicians in the surrounding area.

ImPACT History:

Since 2002, Dr. Saglimbeni has been evaluating concussion injuries in athletes from high school to the professional level. South Bay Sports & Preventive Medicine Associates has been very active in assessing all athletes with concussion injuries since 2007.
