About Neurocognitive Diagnostic & Treatment Clinic
The Neurocognitive Diagnostic and Treatment Clinic is a community based health care service located in a medical complex. It is directed by Dr. Joel Becker, a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist. He is a member of The National Academy of Neuropsychologists, The International Neuropsychology Society and a Certified ImPACT consultant.
Athletes who have experienced a neurological event are evaluated, diagnosed and treated at this facility. Other patients with neurocognitive conditions are seen as well. ImPACT is employed in the process as well as other standardized assessments when indicated. Individuals are given detailed explanations and recommendations pertaining to their condition subsequent to their evaluation. Coordination of care is a strong commitment of the clinic. Physicians, certified athletic trainers, therapists and educators are frequently involved. The clinic utilizes state of the art neurocognitive rehabilitative methodology including researched methods and computer delivered programs. At the heart of the rehabilitation plan is a current evaluation administered by a clinical neuropsychologist well versed in ImPACT.
The clinic is handicapped accessible and is easily reached by Interstate 395.
