Intent and Overview
This workshop will focus on implementing the ImPACT Concussion Management System into your Clinic and/or Sports Organization Setting. Didactic lectures, hands-on workshops, and active dialog between faculty and participants will be encouraged.

Who Should Attend
Designed for physicians, neurologists, neuropsychologists, athletic trainers, & athletic directors.

Objectives
Participants will have the opportunity to gain and expand their knowledge regarding comprehensive management of sports-related concussion and the ImPACT Concusssion Managament Software. Following completion of this workshop, participants should be able to:
  • Discuss biomechanical, neurometabolic and neurobehavioral aspects of concussion
  • Explain appropriate on-field concussion diagnostic and return-to-play protocols
  • Explain the role of ImPACT in making return-to-play decisions
  • Discuss current treatment options for sports-related concussion & post-concusssion syndrome
  • Implement a concussion management program at your clinical setting or sports organization
